Dr. Brodner was born in New York City and has lived in Florida since he was 12. After attending The Benjamin School, he received his BS degree in Biology from Fordham University in 1994. He then set off for the University of Florida and graduated Dental School in 1998. After school, Dr. Brodner furthered his education by a completing a 1-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Florida St. Petersburg Clinic.
Every year, Dr. Brodner greatly exceeds the number of continuing education requirements in order to stay current and offer the best treatment for his patients. Dr. Brodner has been awarded a Fellow status in both the Academy of General Dentistry as well as the International Congress of Oral Implantology.
Dr. Brodner and his wife Leigh enjoy spending time with their 3 daughters boating, traveling to the Keys, and pretty much doing anything fun!
As a graduate of the Rochester Dental Assistant School in New York State, I have been active in the dental field since 1973. I relocated to Florida from Goshen, NY in 1983 and have been at this dental practice since 1994 as the Office Manager. One of the best parts of our practice is the long-term multigenerational relationships we establish along the way. We invite you to become part of our extended family. When I’m not in the office, my family time includes my husband Richard, 2 adult children, and 2 grandsons. Baking and cooking are my passions. I also like to travel when I can. A few hobbies of mine are making mosaics, teacup collecting, and writing fun poems.
I have had the pleasure of working in this dental office since 1979. I first worked as a dental assistant, then after receiving an AS degree in Dental Hygiene in 1982, I began working as a hygienist. I have since retired from hygiene, although I occasionally fill in and am now the General Office Assistant. I love working with Dr. Brodner and my teammates who are also my good friends. We are one big family at Brodner Dentistry! Out of the office I enjoy spending time with my husband, family and friends, especially my grandchildren.
I received my Expanded Duties Certification at Palm Beach Junior College way back in 1982, and have been working as a chairside assistant with my “office family” for over 18 years. My pastimes include reading, swimming, surfing the internet for funny cat videos, and sending my entire paycheck to my FSU senior son.
I earned my Dental Hygiene degree from Illinois Central College in Peoria, Illinois 16 years ago. I practiced in Illinois for 6 years prior to moving to Florida and have been with Dr. John Brodner for the last 10 years since moving to Palm Beach County in 2003.
I love helping our patients feel comfortable and cared for in the dental chair and personalizing individual oral health care treatment plans to meet each patient’s needs. Over the years at Dr. Brodner’s office, I have also appreciated having enough time with patients that I can get to know them on a personal level. Over time, the patients become more like friends than simply just patients. The same is true of my co-workers, we are a true dental family who enjoy sharing time together inside and outside of the office.
In my free time, I enjoy my second job as a personal trainer, coaching cycling classes, and working out myself.
I am one of the dental hygienists in Dr. Brodner’s practice. I have enjoyed the opportunity to experience many changes in patient care that have greatly improved the oral health of our patients. The proactive approach that our office takes in patient care makes me proud to be part of this team. I graduated from Palm Beach State College, Dental Hygiene School in 1985. I have been a team member in this office since 1985. My family relocated to Tequesta in 1977 from Virginia. I lived in this area, got married and had 2 sons since then. I enjoy my family, quilting, reading, boating, and gardening.
I received my dental assisting certification and radiology licenses from the state of New Jersey in 1994 and 1998 respectively. Since that time, I have assisted in all aspects of the dental field including cosmetic and restorative dentistry, implants, oral surgery, orthodontics, and periodontics. I am the newest member of Dr. Brodner’s dental practice, but it feels like I have been here as a part of the team all along. My husband, myself and our 2 daughters moved to Stuart, FL in November 2011. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, taking trips to Disney World, going to the beach, fishing, boating, and gardening.
